Prior to his current endeavors, Dr. Terrence D. Julien served Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery at the Marshal University in Huntington, WV, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV, and Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Drexel University in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Julien has also acted as System Director of Surgical Neuro-Oncology and System Co-Director of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Julien received board certification in neurosurgical surgery from the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He feels that his success is attributable primarily to always being curious about the brain and how to help people. Dr. Julien has been elected a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2017.
